Val Thorens Snow Report 13/01/2016

It hasn’t stopped snowing for about a week now and this has led to amazing conditions in Val Thorens. Fresh powder on and off piste makes for excellent skiing conditions. high winds has meant that some lifts have been closed in the past few days but a break in the snow and some glorious sunshine has allowed the full area to be opened back up.

Forecast: Thursday: Heavy snow throughout the day, easing overnight
Friday: Moderate snow showers throughout with the chance of sun. Temperatures falling below -20 into the evening
Saturday: Light snow with increasing winds leading to wind chill causing a huge drop in temperature
Sunday: Light snow and chance of sun, however low temperatures remain
Monday: Clear skies with the chance of slight clouds later in the day
