Val Thorens Snow Report 06/01/2016

Huge snowfall in the last few days means that skiing conditions are the best of the season so far. Almost all runs are open and pistes are in a great condition with fresh snow everywhere. The snow is set to continue to fall for the next week so great skiing is guaranteed for weeks ahead.

Forecast: Thursday- Heavy snow and high winds. Over 40cm predicted to fall
Friday- Light snow during the day, getting heavier overnight. Temps just below freezing
Saturday- Light to moderate snow with it clearing up overnight
Sunday- Snow continues and temperatures hover just below zero
Monday- Falling temperatures, heavy snow and high wind
Tuesday- Temperatures of around -10 with high winds making temperatures with wind chill making it feel -20. Heavy snow continues
