Christmas eve was another glorious day in Tignes with bright sun and mild temperatures. There is a huge of snow in Tignes with the pistes in resort 125 cm deep and well over 2 metres deep up on the glacier. Yesterday the funicular and cable car was open all the way to the top of Grand Motte giving everyone spectacular views from the top of the mountain at 3,456 meters. The best skiing and boarding was to be found here as the snow on the glacier is in wonderful condition in the glorious sunshine. The ski hosts led our groups all the way down the Glacier and Double M pistes into Val Claret for the long ride on the wide well groomed pistes.
