After yet more fresh snow in Tignes, the resort is looking fantastic this morning as we look out across the frozen lake and up to the Grand Motte glacier. The skies are clear and the snowy mountains are looking beautiful and very inviting. It’s sure to be another great day on the pistes and guests are heading out early to take advantage of this glorious skiing weather.
Yesterday, as fresh snow fell throughout the valley we skied in and out of cloud, enjoying a sprinkling of fresh snow and then spells of sunshine. The superb red piste of Double M that runs down into Val Claret was in perfect condition and full of sunshine during the morning. However, the last section of it has been moved to accommodate the massive jumps that will be part of the X games, starting next Wednesday. With fresh snow and a world famous event coming up, next week in Tignes is sure to be one to remember.
