Tignes snow report 11.01.2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Tignes.

There is 244cm of snow at the top of the Tignes ski area and 118cm on the lower pistes. The last snowfall was 20cm yesterday and it’s still coming down.

This week Tignes has been enjoying brilliant bursts of sunshine and perfect pistes. Everyday guests have been zooming around the pistes and enjoying the wonderful mountain views. Yesterday we skied down la Face into Val D’Isere and then over to the glacier to enjoy the fantastic scenery from the top of the resort. Last night, as we went out for dinner at the Pignatta in Val Claret the snow began to fall again and it’s yet to stop. Tignes is once again enjoying an excellent snowfall. Every street corner, every roof top, every inch of this little town is now covered in a thick white layer. The pistes this morning are sure to be in super condition. Tignes has had a fantastic start to 2013 and there is certainly going to be plenty of great skiing in the weeks to come.
