Tignes Snow Report, 02 March 2010

Chalet Anne Marie, Tignes195cms at the top of the Grande Motte

The incredible amount of snowfall resulted in some sensational off piste, allowing skiers and boarders to take on the softest fluffiest waist deep powder they had ever seen, and ski it until their hearts content. Yesterday, the resort woke up to blue skies and smooth slopes for a fantastic first day’s skiing

With a little more snow expected today, and then a follow up of bright sunshine by the afternoon, today should be an amazing day, with absolutely nothing to complain about other having too much fun! The next two days predict a sunny start for Wednesday morning, with the potential for MORE SNOW by the afternoon!

Last night saw again another record on the number of pub quiz attendees! 20 teams took part in the challenge to bring home the bottle of Champagne! Rounds included a Guess the celebrity beard round, an Art Knowledge round (what is the Mona Lisa otherwise known as?) and a sports round amongst others. The evening was highly successful and all involved had a fantastic evening.
