St Anton Snow Report 29/01/2016
Good conditions from last week led into the weekend with 10cm snowfall on Saturday. While, this didn’t interfere with transfers it was the last snowfall of the week. St Anton now has all cable cars and lifts open with a lower base piste depth of 65cm and an upper base depth of 135cm. Even though the last snowfall was on the 23rd January, the piste conditions continue to be in really good condition. There were some warmer conditions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with temperatures getting up to 10 degrees on Monday afternoon.
Forecast: Guests coming out for next week can expect the temperature to remain around the 0 degree mark until at least Tuesday. There will be some snow on Sunday around 2cm, but unfortunately conditions will be mainly cloudy for the beginning of next week. There is snow expected higher up on Friday 29th, with around 56cm forecast over the next 7 days – and up to 88cm possible the following week.
