There is a good amount of snow on the mountain already around 125cm at the top of the St Anton ski area and 85cm down in resort. The last snowfall was on Monday and we had an amazing 35cm fall.

There are 39 runs open and 25 lifts in operation with more due to open soon.

Snow is forecast for Sunday and Monday with about 12cm at Valluga – highest point in the area. Temperatures will have lows of -18 and highs of -1, keeping the snow pristine for skiers and boarders. The wind chill in St Anton this week is light ensuring very enjoyable skiing for all.

After having two gorgeous sunny, clear days along with the recent snowfall the skiing conditions are excellent. The pistes have been bashed to provide perfect skiing on the 280km of slopes here in St Anton and the 180km off piste slopes are full of powder ready for you to enjoy.

Skiers and snowboarders have started to arrive this week and the buzz is defiantly in the air, all bars and shops are open waiting for our Esprit and Ski Total guest to arrive. This weekend is the Apres-Ski-Hits 2013 at the après bar Mooserwirt; the party hot spot in Arlberg. If you want to know who will be storming the charts next year then this is something not to be missed.
