Here is the latest snow report from our team in St Anton

It has been snowing here in St Anton since Thursday. There is 195cm of snow at the top and 70cm of snow down in resort. Roughly 5cm of snow fell overnight.

29 lifts are open with 44 runs open.

Its snowing all of today (Friday), giving us about 4cm of fresh white stuff. Saturday afternoon is looking to be a blue bird, which some cloud in the morning which will clear by the afternoon. Sunday night and Monday we are expecting another 9cm of snow!! This is exactly what the resort needs and all the enthusiasts love to hear. There will be a small gust of wind throughout resulting in a wind chill temperature of anything between -12 to -24 degrees.

SNOW, SNOW, SNOW!! After a very warm week there is finally a fresh dump of snow. Its been snowing since Thursday evening giving St Anton a new white blanket. All this snow means of course that there is fresh powder to carve up. Especially high up on the mountain the conditions are next to none. Its getting a bit colder as well (around -10), which means the snow will stay in good condition till our next snow dump on Saturday and Sunday.

Not much going on in resort….apart from FIS LADIES WORLD CUP!!! The whole village is buzzing in anticipation for the weekends events. Men in high-vis jackets are setting up stages in the center of town. Speakers have been put all long the pedestrian zone for the after party. The race route has been groomed all week and they have now marked out the blue lines and in which the competitors have to race in. Every so often you can spot a little speck shooting down the mountain at unimaginable speed. There will be a lot going on so make sure you get a glimpse of this international event.
