St Anton Snow Report 08/03/2013
Here is the latest snow report from our team in St Anton
There is 220cm of snow at the top of the St Anton ski area with 70cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on 22nd Feb with around 5cm falling.
There are 253km of pistes open in the St Anton ski area with 79 out of 79 ski lifts open.
Starting off with a sunny morning tomorrow, we are expecting around 9cm of snow over the next three days, the majority arriving Saturday and Sunday evening. Temperatures are expected to stay fairly mild, between 0 and -3 along with gentle winds across the region.
With powder snow still available on the higher slopes in resort, skiing in the Arlberg area is currently excellent. The pistes are well maintained and the great weather offers perfect conditions across the region.
With the toboggan run now open in resort why not try out the 4km adventure beginning at Gampen and heading right down the valley. Not only can this be done during the day but for those more thrill seeking amongst you, the run is also open on a Tuesday and Thursday evening.
If you’re looking for something a little less adrenaline pumping why not head down to the ski show on a Wednesday evening and enjoy a spectacular display from the regions ski instructors who will be performing a synchronised ski routine, topped off with a colourful firework presentation.
