The arlberg has enjoyed blazing sunshine over the past several days with the slopes being packed with many a avid skier and boarder. This has also resulted in St Anton’s aprés scene being as lively as ever with with many guests joining in the party on the terraces. There has been many a pink face throughout town and many seasonaires have begun to develope the tell tale sign of panda eyes, sun bathing up on the Rendle side of St Anton has almost become a new sport! Despite the warm weather the slopes have kept in fantastic condition due to the snow management of Ski Arlberg and the colder temperatures in the evening which is preserving the snow. All runs and lifts are currently open so guests are enjoying wide range of pistes and ski routes that St Anton and the Arlberg has to offer. Blue 4 or “happy valley” as is known reopened over the weekend so traffic is now easing off of the other routes back in to St Anton from Stuben.
With the pedestrian area in the centre of St Anton clear of Snow, this is the perfect time for the Handwerker Market to visit the area.
