St Anton Snow Report, 02 March 2010
The decent snowfall last week has improved the already fantastic skiing conditions here in St Anton. Around 10 cm fell at the weekend and on Tuesday so this has really freshened up the pistes.
Great skiing in the morning is found on the Rendl side as it gets the early morning sun. Then you can make your way down to town and stop off for some lunch at one of the many fantastic restaurants St Anton has to offer.
In the afternoon take your choice of Galzig or Gampen which both offer great on piste and off piste skiing for all levels.
Snow showers and Sunny intervals are predicted for the next few days which should make the snow conditions excellent for skiing. The visibility may be lower at the top of the mountain but great everywhere else.
The pistes continue to be relatively peaceful but the après bars are as lively as ever with the infamous Mooserwirt and Krazy Kangaruh competing for attention.
There is also plenty of après ski activities available for the slightly younger generation. The stunning outdoor swimming pool, rock climbing wall, evening tobogganing and Friday night discos on ice keep everyone entertained.
