St Anton Snow Report, 01 March 2011
Snow depth in resort: 60cm at Base (1304m)
Date and amount of last snowfall: 5cm yesterday!
The pistes are in superb condition having had a foot of fresh snow in the last week, off piste conditions are equally great with a great amount of untouched powder. Our featured run is Black 10 in Sonnenkopf (from the top of Obermuri lift), this is quite probably the steepest run in the Arlberg and an opportunity to enjoy the fast piste whilst enjoying the views; this is not for beginners though.
The weather is great in St Anton at the moment with the sun shining this morning and snow forecast for Wednesday and Thursday. The predicted temperatures for the next three days; daytime lows of -13 and highs of -3.
Tomorrow, Rendl will host the Children’s Carnival – this is expected to be a great family event (top of Rendlbahn).
