March is bringing some very spring-like weather for the coming week. The glorious sunshine and cloud-less skies today are an indication of the next few days – with the weather not breaking until around Wednesday! Temperatures are also staying very mild – down in town there are highs of 4 degrees Celsius and up on the glacier there are only lows of minus 7/8 for the next few days! And with very low winds, there isn’t much wind-chill factor either. However, the winds will be picking up into Tuesday, making it feel a bit cooler. So remember your sun cream!
Visibility couldn’t be better – with wall to wall sunshine! Temperatures are mild, so pack away those woolly jumpers and bring out the sunnies! Remember the sun cream though, as the sun is much stronger in the mountains! However, the sunny and mild weather has made the new snow from Sunday suffer a little, with it becoming quite hard packed in places and off-piste is now fairly tracked out. Head out early to get the freshly groomed and empty slopes.
