Selva Snow Report, 01 Feb 2011

SelvaSnow depth at top of ski area:     150cm on the mountain
Snow depth in resort:                      60cm

Beautiful sunshine and clear blue skies continue to dominate the weather this week. The pistes have been extremely well looked after and the temperature will continue to stay relatively cold, keeping the snow in good condition.

Just further up the valley, in Corvara and Arabba, there is slightly improved snow, which our guests are taking full advantage of when completing the World famous ski circuit; the Sella Ronda. Fingers-crossed, Selva will also get a top-up sometime later this week.

The weather next week is forecast to be similar to this week. Stunning sunshine and beautiful blue skies, whilst staying relatively cold, keeping the snow in tip-top condition.

The Fire show last night was incredible; the freestyle jumpers were awesome, pulling off all kinds of “sick” tricks. On Monday (07/02), there will be a torchlight decent on the Freina slope and we will make sure that dinner is finished early and guests are accompanied down to see the amazing spectacle.
