Obergurgl Snow Report
Here is the latest snow report from our team in Obergurgl
There is 180cm of snow at the top of the Obergurgl ski area with 65cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on 7th April with around 4cm falling.
There are 91% of pistes open in the Obergurgl ski area with 95% ski lifts open.
Snow is due to fall over the next couple of days, the heaviest snow falling being Friday into Saturday morning. Temperatures are steadily creeping up to the 0 mark and with light winds, there should be some pleasant temperatures around.
Some very good snow is still to be found across the area, whether you are at the top of Hochgurgl
or across at the lower side of Obergurgl. Naturally skiing is best in the morning after those lovely piste bashers have been hard at work over night preparing the slopes ready for the keen skiers.
Ski Finish is here. Ranging from via ferrata in the Zirbenwald to Cocktails in the slopes at the
Nederhuette to an open air cinema at the Hohe Mut Alm there are lots of activities going on this week. For something different the Putt In bar has a Bad Taste Evening on Tuesday night – free entry but only if your outfit is seriously uncool. On a slightly different note, fans of Bode Miller may be interested to know that he is in Soelden from 19th – 21st April, giving hints, tips, training, and of course autographs!
