Hot news – another new ski chalet!

Monday, September 26th, 2011

Chalet Plein SudNot content with the 25 new ski chalets already in the programme for this winter, we have just added a further charming ski chalet to our portfolio in Courchevel 1850.

Chalet Plein Sud is a mere 10m from the gentle blue Bellecote piste and, as our Programme Director, Ian Hope states, “is such a delightful and well-located chalet, we just had to have it.  Skiing from the Plein Sud to the main hub of Courchevel 1850 at La Croisette takes only a minute and from here the whole of the Three Valleys opens up.  There are very few other chalets in the market that can offer UK skiers such a great start to their ski day”.

Holiday prices to the Chalet Plein Sud  start from £624 per person for one week, including £150 Cash-Back per couple, return Southampton-Geneva flights, transfers, 2-for-1 ski/boot hire offer saving £125 per couple and catered chalet accommodation (full chalet buffet breakfast with daily hot option, afternoon tea/coffee with a homemade cake, 4-course dinners 6 nights a week including apéritif, choice of complimentary quality wines, coffee and chocolates).

A beautiful ski chalet ideal for ski chalet groups

Friday, August 19th, 2011

Groups of friends travelling together on a ski holiday often have a wide range of ski or board abilities and often have differing ideas about how active they should be when on holiday!  But one thing they  always all agree on is the need for a warm and comfortable ‘home from home’ for their week in the snow.

Chalet Suzanne in Méribel ticks every box going; en suite bedrooms, feature fireplace and spacious lounge, outdoor hot-tub on a large terrace, TV and DVD plus free wifi, and the exclusive  service of a chalet team dedicated to providing professional guest care alongside a cheerful holiday atmosphere plus superb four-course evening dinners seved with a choice of unlimited wine, perfect for ski chalet groups…

We, at Ski Total, like the Suzanne so much that we have rated it one of our 5 Diamond Platinum properties and once you have visited it, we are sure you’ll agree.

Chalet Yeti bedroom, Val d'Isere, FranceWith the Ski Total main edition brochure out for over a month, the buzz is now all about the New Platinum range of properties that are on offer through out the programme for the coming 2011/12 ski season.

So what makes a property platinum? I hear you ask…

The simple answer is, there is no set criteria for a platinum property, we have ensured that every platinum property will include free wifi and a 2 for 1 massage offer from our partners Ski-Physio, as well as some luxury toiletries, comfy bathrobes and towelling slippers for all guests to use during their stay.

Chalet Arktic Hot tub, TignesThe ultimate reason for many of the properties that make up our platunim range is down to what we feel are the very best properties.  These feelings are based on our guests feedback and comments as well as our senior management teams details reviews.

Some properties have the interior design Wow factor and other have spectacular views, from that extra luxry of a private indoor pool or a large spacious living area to relax in after a hard days skiing.  We believe that the platinum range offers something special that will make your next ski holiday perfect…

Exclusive ski chalets

This week we are taking a look at Italy and Chalet Matea. For those not familiar with the resort, Arabba is a beautiful village on the Dolomiti Superski Area. It offers easy access to the slopes including the Marmolada Glacier and very Italian-style apres ski based in the centre of the village.

Chalet Matea is on the second floor of this wonderful wooden clad chalet. If you are a group of 20-21 then we can combine it with Chalet Luka on the third floor and arrange for you to all take meals together.

The chalet has a lounge and dining room which is full of character with a log fire and two balconies. The bedrooms are well appointed and all have private facilities.
