Our Chalet Hotels
Our Chalet Hotels work in a similar fashion to our smaller Chalets. They combine our ‘home from home’, relaxed atmosphere with the space, facilities and cuisine standards of what you expect from a larger hotel.
The size of our Chalet Hotels varies, with the Montfort in Lech being the smallest and cosiest, sleeping 25-35 guests, whilst the Champs Avalins and the Le Savoie in Val d’Isere being our largest, sleeping up to around 80 guests, so more than enough space for larger groups.
The standard of accommodation is generally higher than in traditional chalets, with larger dining-rooms and more public areas, such as residence only bars, and comfortable lounge areas. All bedrooms in our Chalet Hotels have en suite bath or shower and wc facilities. The Sonneck and the Elisabeth in Lech, the Rosset and the Le Savoie in the Espace Killy ski area also have the added features of their own indoor swimming pool and Sauna areas.
An additional feature of our Chalet Hotels is a more extensive culinary experience for our guests, with 5 courses at dinner, including choices of menu, with lighter as well as more hearty options, vegetarian dishes always on the menu, and a cheese selection to round off each evening, as well as coffee with chocolates. Our restaurant team will invite you to select your menu preference each morning at breakfast for that evening’s dinner, from a choice of two or three options for each course.
The Chalet Hotel Le Savoie is a new addition to our programme, it is our first Platinum 5 diamond rating property and therefore has a slightly different dining experience. We offer an extended menu choice, an increased selection of quality wines and flexible dining times. More detailed information and example menus can be found in Food & Cuisine.
Families in Chalet Hotels
Because of their size and generally more spacious communal areas, our Chalet Hotels work well with a mixture of guests, and therefore welcome families on all dates throughout the season.
Families staying in one of our Chalet Hotels may choose to eat separately (High Tea at 5:30pm) or all dine together at the later adult dinner time if children who have received a child discount pay the meal upgrade charge of £39 at the time of booking only.
