Moonlight skiing in Zermatt

Have you ever experienced skiing at night under moonlight?

Zermatt Tourist office have teamed up with two restaurants to offer visitors the opportunity to ski down from two great locations in Zermatt under the light of the moon; and a head torch.

This is a limited offer and is only available on the 24th February, 26th March and the 24th April. For those taking part you need to meet at the Rothorn Station at 1845 for a 1900 departure.

The two locations to choose from are the Rothorn and Blauherd.

Moonlight ski run Rothorn

  • The package includes: One-way ticket Zermatt – Rothorn, fondue in the Restaurant Rothorn, downhill run together with the piste control and rescue service.
  • Prices: Adults single ticket CHF 70.50, children 9 – 16 years of age (year 1996 – 2002) single ticket CHF 53.00, children up to 9 years (2003 and younger) travel free of charge
  • Registration: Restaurant Rothorn, Tel. +41 (0)27 967 26 75, until 15.00 h

Moonlight ski run Blauherd

  • The package includes: One-way ticket Zermatt – Blauherd, 3 course menu in the Restaurant Blue Lounge Blauherd, downhill run together with the piste control and rescue service.
  • Prices: Adults single ticket CHF 59.00, children 9 – 16 years of age (year 1996 – 2002) single ticket CHF 47.00, children up to 9 years (2003 and younger) travel free of charge
  • Registration: Restaurant Blue Lounge Blauherd Tel. +41 (0)27 967 35 24, until 15.00 h
