Meribel Snow Report 27/01/2016

There has been some beautiful days of sunshine recently, often without a cloud in sight, making it a wonderful time to be on holiday in Meribel taking in the sun and scenery as you ride the chair lifts. With nearly all trails and lifts open there’s a lot of terrain to explore and although some of the close off-piste is a little icy now for the adventurous there is still powder to be found. The pistes are still in great condition with just a few icy and slushy areas on the lower slopes so it’s a great time to catch the early lifts and take in the rays.

Forecast: Bright sunny skies are forecast throughout the week with only a spattering of clouds along the way. The first signs of more snow are due on Sunday, but only with a light shower on the upper slopes until later in the following week when the next decent snowfall is predicted. Temperatures ranging from -3 to 2 but you can expect it to be higher in the sunshine.
