Meribel Snow Report 15/03/2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Meribel

There is 215cm of snow at the top of the Meribel ski area with 110cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on  14th March with around 20cm falling.

There are 95% of pistes open in the Meribel ski area with 41 out of 46 ski lifts open.

Today: A very chilly day with the maximum temperatures reaching -12 degrees at the most.

Saturday: 3cm of powder expected with highs of -5 degrees

Sunday: A big dump of powder with 16cm expected and mild temperatures of around -4 degrees.

After the big dump of snow yesterday the ski conditions are excellent, with fresh powder for freestylers and freshly bashed pistes for carvers and beginners.

After yesterdays huge downfall of snow everyone in resort is thankful for the top up of the beautiful white stuff. This week we have had The Feeling do a live concert, a great turn out for the quiz and bar crawl, and to top it off, a fantastic street party and comedy night at Jacks last night featuring Marcus Brigstock! There must be something addictive about Meribel as this is the second time Marcus has done a gig and The Feeling stayed to play a completely free set in the Meribel auditorium.
