The latest snow report from our team in Meribel

The snow depth at the top of the ski area at Meribel is 200cm and in resort there is 100cm on the home runs. It last snowed on 10/12/12 with 2cm.

Weather forecast for next 3 days is Friday – Cloudy during the day withlows of  –7c and highs of 4c. Due to snow about 1cm at 19:00. Saturday – Rain is predicted early morning between the hours of 01:00 and 07:00 but then we are expecting some lovely snow at 13:00 with an extra cm being added to the slopes. Lows of -9c and highs of 3c. Sunday – Sunday looks to be an excellent day with patchy snow clouds and sun throughout the day. With lows of about -9c and highs of 3c there should be another 8cm of snowfall throughout the day!

With the recent dump of powder over the last two weeks, the snow has been immaculate to ski on. The piste bashers have done a great job in grooming the untamed snow into something which is simply a joy to ski on. There are amazing off piste opportunities as well as on piste carving, so skiers of all preferences are more than catered for. What more could you want!

With the guests arriving on Sunday, the resort is awash with anticipation of having the opportunity to impress and go above and beyond. The chalet hosts are bustling around their chalets making all the final preparations and the representatives are working hard to ensure transfer day will go off without a hitch! With the skiing in resort being perfectly prepared for guests and staff alike.
