Les Gets Snow Report, 19 Mar 2010
At the highest point of Les Gets (2002m) there is currently 145cm of snow with 45cm in resort at 2002m. The skiing at the moment in Les Gets is perfect for families to enjoy. There are plenty of lovely cruising blues for beginners and many challenging reds for the more intermediate skiers. With a snow park at Mont Cherry and plenty of black mogul fields there is plenty in Les Gets to please everyone.
66/67 runs are open along with 50/52 lifts.
The slopes higher up at 2002m are still in good condition especially in the morning whilst the snow is still crisp from the low temperatures from the night. As the temperatures rise you can enjoy a bit of sun bathing whilst eating your lunch on the slopes…watch out for those goggle marks!
Once again the sun is shining in Les Gets today and the temperature is rising to 2⁰C. The weather is not looking so promising over the next two days with cloudy conditions and light snow then due on Monday and back to sunshine again on Tuesday.
Why not go to the Tourist Office this afternoon for fun and games? From 3-6pm there will be lots of outdoor wooden games to play with. Enough to keep the children entertained until tea time.
