Les Gets Snow Report 15/03/2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Les Gets

There is 190cm of snow at the top of the Les Gets ski area with 65cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on  12th March with around 5cm falling.

There are 100% of pistes open in the Les Gets ski area with 100% ski lifts open.

The weather’s going to stay clear for the day today, but then get slightly cloudy tomorrow and bring some snow for us on Sunday. Temperatures are warming up again with lows of -12 today, but then climbing back up to 0 degrees on Sunday.

Ski conditions are still excellent up on the mountains. The latest snowfall this week has refreshed the pistes and the piste bashers have all been out working hard to make sure that the slopes are all groomed and in the best possible condition. Skies are clear once more so visibility is excellent, just make sure you remember to take your sun glasses out with you. This also means it’s the perfect opportunity to head up to the various viewing points around the mountains and take some pictures of the spectacular scenes.

Rock the Piste festival is coming up soon. Free music and events all over the Portes du Soleil starting next week.
