Les Gets snow report 08/02/2013
Here is the latest snow report from our team in Les Gets
There is 260cm of snow at the top of the Les Gets ski area with around 125cm down in resort, the most there has been for a while. The last snow fall in resort was last night, giving us an amazing fresh layer of snow.
All 69 of the lifts in the Les Gets area are open today and only one of the 51 slopes in resort is closed today, due to the conditions, so you definitely won’t be missing out on any skiing.
There will be some snow showers today and tomorrow, but there will be some blue sky, and Sunday will be considerably clearer. Temperatures will hit lows of-13 and will reach highs of-5, however wind chill will make it feel like-16 at times.
Ski conditions have been fantastic all week due to all the snow we’ve had. Mont Chery will be perfect to ski this morning, as it always is after a fresh dump of snow. And the skies look clear for this morning at least, so the view of Mont Blanc from the top of Mont Chery will be excellent, so make sure you take your camera. The Chavannes is in great condition too. There’s plenty of fresh snow everywhere right now and it looks as though visibility will be good this morning too.
There’s plenty going on this coming week, with bands and welcome drinks and valentines day events for everyone to get involved in.
