Les Gets Snow Report 05/03/2013
Here is the latest snow report from our team in Les Gets
There is 240cm of snow at the top of the Les Gets ski area with 100cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on 15th Feb with around 3cm falling.
There are 100% of pistes open in the Les Gets ski area with 50 out of 51 ski lifts open.
We’re expecting some clouds in the next few days, with a potential for some light rain. Temperatures are staying warm, with highs of 4/5 degrees and lows of 0 degrees, but as the temperatures drop towards the end of the week we’re going to be anticipating some light snow.
There is still lots of snow up on the mountains, making for some excellent skiing along with the brilliant weather conditions we are having at the moment. The piste bashers have been out in force each evening as well to make sure all the slopes are as well groomed as they possibly can be so you can enjoy your skiing during the day. The sun has been shining for quite some time now, and whilst we are expected a few clouds the skies are going to remain mostly clear. Views from the top of the mountains are fantastic right now, so head up Ranfolly, Nyon or Mont Chery to their viewing points to get some excellent snaps.
Tonight, just like every Tuesday, Colin is running his tour of the Irish bars very own micro brewery. The only bar in les Gets to brew it’s own beer. Also today we have a mountain riders event where you can discover a fascinating stand on the environment
