It’s going to stay warm this week. we’ve got high temperatures of 4 degrees and lows of -1 degrees, with wind chill not being much cooler. There’s going to be a few clouds, but mostly we’re just expecting more sunshine.
There is plenty of snow up on the mountains at the moment, making for some excellent skiing. The skiing is made so much better by the fact that the weather has been incredible for the past week. We have had so much sun recently, meaning that visibility has been absolutely excellent. The views up on Mont Chery, as well as the various other view points in resort, are spectacular, so make sure you’ve got your camera with you to get some snaps of Mont Blanc. With all the sun, it’s also the perfect time to work on your goggle tan marks, and the best place to do that is up the mountain outside a bar with a vin chaud.
It’s the Yaute Winter Tour tomorrow in Les Gets, with an electro, tech-house, dubstep and drum & bass party to la Salle de la Columbiere. More music around resort during the week including Cab Collective on Saturday in Indigo and a band in Irish on Monday. Colin is still doing his tour of the brewery on Tuesday night in Irish. Tonight in Bush we have the weekly quiz night. Today we have a snowball fight tournament in resort today from 2:30 at snowline. There is also a disco power band which will be making it’s way throughout the village today. And of course there is the usual treasure hunt on the Indian run.
