Les Gets snow report 01/02/2013
Here is the latest snow report from our team in Les Gets
We’ve got 200cm of snow up at the top of the Les Gets ski area at the moment. Down in resort we have 80cm of snow right now. Our last snowfall was on the 28/01/13 and we had 20cm.
All of our runs are open at the moment so there will be some excellent skiing available. 49 out of the 51 runs are open at the moment, so only two are closed. The Grand Cry drag lift and the Mouille aux Chats chair lift are both closed at the moment.
We’re expected some moderate snow tonight, and we’ll have some more tomorrow too. Temperatures are going to hit lows of around -10 and highs of around 3 degrees. At the coldest points it will feel more like -19 with the wind chill.
We’ve had plenty of fresh powder this week so the snow conditions are excellent. Mont Chery is brilliant at the moment, the skiing is excellent up there, and the views are fantastic. The Chavannes is awesome right now. Everywhere has been pisted and the snow cannons have been working over time to make sure that the conditions will be excellent everywhere.
