Les Arcs Snow Report 30.12.2014
After this weekends massive snow fall we have plenty of snow in Les Arcs. There is no green to be seen anywhere and almost all the slopes are now open. The Vanoise Express is open, allowing our guests to ski 425km of piste all the way over to La Plagne. This fantastic double decker cable car is well worth the trip during your holiday here.
There are 47 out of 52 lifts open in the Les Arcs area alone, with most blue runs in 2000 pisted. More challenging red runs can be found in the 1800 and 1600 levels. Almost all the runs in Peisey Vallandry are open and it is now possible to ski all the way down to Villeroger. The snow is 55cm deep with excellent powder and the last two morning have been blue bird days. The temperature here is below freezing and due to get colder as the week goes on, until we get more snowfall over the weekend… The rest of the week is due to be cold and clear.
