Les Arcs Snow Report – 25.12.2014

Merry Christmas from Les Arcs everyone. We can truthfully say we have had a white Christmas, with snow flurries over lunchtime today. There are a lot of people in resort this week so runs are busy and begin to get icy in the afternoon, but there is still great skiing to be had. From all of the Resort Team we wish you a very Merry Christmas and hope to see you next week to celebrate the New Year with us.

Forecast: The snow today is 10cm deep, and we are due a whopping snow fall over the weekend, leading to excellent powder potential to start of New Year’s week…maybe not so good for transfer day though!! Tomorrow morning is due to be clear and there is 10cm snow expected overnight to hopefully make Boxing Day a bluebird day. In the Les Arcs area there are 26 lifts out of 34 open, with conditions improving enough that it is now possible to ski between all levels and over to Peisey. Vanoise Express is expected to be opening over this weekend with the expected snow fall, opening up the whole 425km Paradiski area for the very busy New Years week.
