Les Arcs snow report 11.12.2012
The latest snow report from our team in Les Arcs
There is a whopping 245cm of snow at the top of the ski area with an amazing 140cm snow in resort too. This really is the place for early season skiing!!
With yet more snow falling over Les Arcs the anticipation for the first lifts to start turning is almost tangible now. The view across the resort shows pristine runs, sculpted by the pisteurs, which will provide perfect corduroy pistes for those lucky enough to be here on opening day. More snow is forecast over the coming weekend, with up to 39cm expected to fall, ensuring that the first guest will be treated to fresh tracks and fantastic conditions.
As I look up to the jewel in the crown of Les Arcs, the Aiguille Rouge summit, it is hard not to get excited for the skiing that lies ahead this season. See you all at the first lift.
The weather over the next 3 days is as follows: Wednesday 12th ; highs of -6, lows of -23 12cm of snow due throughout the day. Thursday 13th; Temps ranging from -8 to -9. 3cm of snow forecast. Friday 14th; Temps ranging between -4 to -7. Snow showers, 4cm expected.
The lifts are due to open on the 15th December just in time for our first guests arriving on Sunday.
