A Family in Les ArcsAt 3000 there is 80cm of snow with 20cm of snow on the slopes at 1500.

There is fantastic fresh powder across the Paradiski Area. Beautiful blue skies are creating the perfect setting for the lifts opening tomorrow morning. Even the runs right in to Arc 2000 village have a covering meaning when lifts do open you will be able to ski within a few yards of most chalets.

Still winds are keeping temperatures stable, but temperatures of minus 8 this morning, mean it is most definitely cold enough to keep the snow fresh for the forthcoming week.

This afternoon will see a light North Easterly wind combined with clear skies and temperatures of minus 5. Over the next 3 days we are set to experience clear skies, temperatures ranging between minus 4 and minus 16 on Sunday night, preserving perfect skiing conditions for the arrival of our first guests.

Many of the shops and bars are now stocked and ready for the seasons first guests a the weekend. The first event of the season will begin tomorrow and is the European Film Festival in Les Arcs and Bourg St Maurice.
