Lech Snow Reports, 02 March 2010
Today’s new snow should refresh the pistes and offer good skiing throughout the region with fresh snow sitting on top of the newly groomed pistes.
A fantastic variety of terrain is available on the 255 kms of pisted slopes. The White Ring is open providing a challenge to the more accomplished skier especially the long decent on Run 33 into Zug.
It is currently snowing in resort with 2 cm having fallen overnight and light to moderate snow due to continue through the day. The freezing level should stay around the height of the resort maintaining good snow conditions at all levels.
Wednesday is expected to be a brighter day with no precipitation and light winds. Thursday sees temperatures falling significantly with light snow expected later in the day.
Lech tourist office are arranging a ‘deer watching and feeding’ for those anybody in seeing some of the local wildlife.
Indoor climbing at the new SportPark Lech isarranged for children aged 7 and above.
