Lech Snow Report 28/01/2015

After the heavy snow which fell all day yesterday and continued overnight, Lech has had a fantastic top-up of snow. This has improved snow conditions vastly, so head out early to leave fresh tracks in the powder! Off-piste guiding is the best way to make the most of the snow conditions off-piste and beginners are definitely appreciating the soft landings on-piste.

Forecast: The cloud is lifting this morning and the sun is forecast to shine until this evening when more snow is to fall – another 10cm overnight. This snow will continue into Thursday morning, ease off Thursday afternoon but then the clouds are closing in again to bring even more snow to Lech – 14cm. Light snow is to fall on Friday and continue into the weekend. Temperatures are staying well below freezing with around minus 4 at resort level, and minus 9 at the top of the ski area. On Thursday into Friday the wind will be picking up, making temperatures even colder at minus 14.
