Lech snow report 15.01.2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Lech

There is 225cm of snow at the top of the Lech ski area and 110cm in resort. There was 8cm of snow that came down yesterday.

92% of the runs are open and are being served by 74 of the 84 lifts.

The weather is due to get colder over the next couple of days, but the sun is said to be shining on Friday.

All over the weekend we have been seen heavy snowfall, freshening up the off piste powder and creating excellent piste conditions. The pisten bullies are hard at work crafting all of the fresh snowfall to some of the most enjoyable snow of the season. With more in store we are due to have fantastic weeks ahead of skiing. With the sun shining through as well you can’t ask for much more.

16th January – Immerse yourself in the behind the scenes working of the Lech ski lifts. There is a two hour tour taking place to introduce people to the business to ensure the smooth running of the ski area and its many lifts.

19th January – The 50 Year anniversary of the ski circuit, the White Ring Race is about to take place. The 22km race is due to be a event not to miss and for those daring enough, take part.
