Lech snow report 05.02.2013
Here is the latest snow report from our team in Lech.
There is 280cm of snow at the top of the Lech ski area with 145cm in resort. There was a massive 45cm of snowfall in Lech yesterday.
70% of the runs are open here in Lech with 52 of the 68 ski lifts open.
The next couple of days is going to be brighter, with the sun shining, although it is still due to snow more and the temperature will be dropping.
After a weekend of heavy snowfall, the conditions on the mountains have been refreshed and are being prepared, ready for you to enjoy some of the best skiing of the season. The pisten bullys are hard at work to groom this new layer of snow into fantastic skiing for all. This fresh fall has also revitalized the off piste conditions, which are sat there waiting for you to create some amazing runs.
Although the visibility is poor, don’t be deterred, as that just adds to the fun of the fresh powder.
Tuesday 5th February – Lech and Oberlech ski school are performing there legendary ski torch show, at 21.30, for all to enjoy, its said to hold audiences spellbound, also including a fireworks display!
Wednesday 6th February – Lech ski lifts discovery tour! Between 15:00 and 17:00 at the Weibermahdbahn you can learn first-hand about what goes on behind-the-scenes of a working ski-lift. You will be accompanied on skis to visit a cable-car installation, a snow-grooming vehicle and a snow-making facility.
