Ischgl snow report 25.12.2012

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Ischgl

There is 145cm of snow at the top of the pistes with 60cm on the lower pistes. The last snowfall of 15cm came on the 21st. 100% of the runs are open with 42 of the 43 lifts open also.

There is going to be around 8cm of new snowfall in the next 2 days. Temperatures are slightly rising with some sunshine breaking through the clouds.

We have had a great dump of snow on Saturday night and the temperatures have slightly risen making the ski conditions fantastic and the visibility on the mountain is excellent. The sun is going to start to break through the blanket of clouds making your day on the mountains even more enjoyable. Again our favourite runs are the ‘40’s’ which all have the best snow conditions this time of year and is near to our famous duty free run. Both the home runs are fully functional essential when you want to go to the après ski.

Austria send their audience into ecstasy every night. Ishcgl is renowned for its Après ski. Whether that is in a ski lodge, or later to a night club. Also Ischgl offers tobogganing on Tuesday 26th and Thursday 28th which starts at 19.00 why not head up the mountain and have a pizza, some glu wein, then head back down on toboggans.
