Ischgl Snow Report 22/02/2013
Here is the latest snow report from the team in Ischgl
There is 160cm of snow at the top of the Ischgl ski area with 50cm in resort. The last snowfall was yesterday with 5cm of fresh snow falling.
There are 234km of pistes open in the Ischgl area with all 43 ski lifts open.
Variable and absolutely deeply wintry cold weather conditions are forecast until the weekend. Tomorrow Saturday promises significantly improved conditions. Sunny conditions are expected into the afternoon. On Saturday night, however, extensions of unsettled conditions will approach from south-east and brush against our regions. Thick clouds and few scattered snow showers are forecast. Starting next week, more friendly weather will approach. A strong high-pressure area will probably result in some bright and only moderately cold winter days.
With the large amount of snowfall we had yesterday there is plenty of fresh powder on the slopes. The ski conditions are excellent Make sure you wrap up warm as temperatures have slightly dropped. Why not stop for a hot chocolate on one of Ischgl’s popular bars in the mountain to help warm you up throughout the day.
Why not try tobogganing on the 25th and don’t miss Ischgl’s amazing ski show on the 26th this should definitely not be missed. Also for some interesting knowledge why not check out Ischgl’s museum it is open on 27th feb you will be able to look at thing such as the first ever ski lifts used and vintage ski’s used and lots more. The children during half term will love it. There is also a Jazz band playing in the Silvretta centre on Wednesday 13th. Also don’t forget to run the 40’s which are great if you fancy a bit of duty free shopping. The conditions are great at the moment so don’t miss out.
