Freestyle and boarder cross fun in Les Gets

Boarder Cross

The Les Gets boarder cross run was constructed in 2011 with input from the local 2010 Winter Olympics silver medallist Deborah Anthonioz and David Ny, the official designer for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

This is one of only a few permanent Boarder Cross installations in France with the capacity for International competitions. Located on the Chavannes Slopes, it is open to the skiing public (ability depending) throughout the winter and enjoys a continual supply of snow thanks to a row of specially designed snow cannons.

Spectators can view the action from a 6m-10m wide track running the length of the course. A live HD web-cam trained on the track transmits the action live to www.lesgets.com

Freestyle airbag

This free facility is available to skiers and boarders of all abilities to practice their freestyle skills on thanks to an enormous inflatable cushion (15m x 11m) providing a safe gentle landing area. Situated at the bottom of the Mont Chéry snow park, it is open each Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Ski Total have 4 chalets to choose from and a range of offers such as 2 for 1 ski and boot hire, £120 off for early booking and 3 days ski hosting.  Availability can be checked online or through the reservations team on 01438 791 933.
