Douchebags is a new Norwegian ski and snowboard bag company founded by the Swedish skier Jon Olsson and the Norweigian engineer Truls Brataas. To develop the ultimate ski and snowboard bag that truly works they interviewed 150 skiers and boarders and collaborated with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The end product resulted in a bag with length adjustments and extra protection and compressibility. The bag is so good it was one of the finalists of the year at the ISPO sporting goods conference in Munich. To get your own Douchebag click here.
Although all Ski Total chalets are wonderful, this year we have two fantastic new additions to our chalet family – Chalet Renard Bleu (from £619.95) and Chalet Loup Blanc (from £415.65). These newly built chalets are located in an ideal location of the stunning resort of Les Deux Alpes. If you are a keen snowboarder this is the place for you, the resort is a mecca for snowboarders and hosts one of the largest snow parks in Europe. For all you off-piste junkies out there, we can assure you, you won’t be disappointed. The resort serves a plethora of off-piste skiing for the adventurous, including the legendary off-piste of La Grave. To book your Les Deux Alpes holiday click here.
Going on a skiing holiday with Ski Total is not all about skiing, it’s also about delicious food and wine as well. Something we take very serious in all our chalets. If you are in Val Thorens (or Meribel and Courchevel) this season you should try RESTAURANT JEAN SULPICE. This is a Michelin-starred restaurants reachable on skis from Courchevel and Meribel (very unusual for this sort of establishment). “Theatre of the expression of a creative chef, adventurer and altruistic, Jean Sulpice combines friendliness and modernity, refinement and relaxation”. Why not go for the CŒUR & TERROIR (Heart & Soul) Menu (€125) and experience gastronomy like never before. For more info click here.
