Courchevel Snow Report, 24 Mar 2010
The sun is out once again this morning, bathing Courchevel in its welcoming light once more and this will once again cause the inhabitants of Courchevel to wake up with desire to get out and get going rather than stay in bed an extra hour of so.
Warm temperatures have made the snow not quite as hard packed as previously and have caused the closure of a very limited number of pistes but the excellent covering we already had all over the valley along with the continuously peerless piste-bashing means that the mornings at least, still hold excellent conditions for getting down the mountain.
Sun is expected for today and tomorrow morning and then the top-up of snow should begin on Wednesday.
Wednesday sees a free dance show going on in 1850 for anyone interested while the Cristal Cup takes place on Thursday, a Giant Slalom race open to anyone willing to give it a go.
