Courchevel Snow Report 23 Mar 2012

SkierThe Three Valleys is skiing beautifully with 184cm of snow base on the upper runs and 137cm at 1850.

Conditions continue to be mild throughout the whole of the 3 Valleys, meaning that some of the snow on the lower slopes is softening – perfect spring snow for beginners.  Don’t panic though – there is still plenty of cover in both 1550 and Le Praz to last for the next few weeks.

You might find a little cloud floating around today, bringing us some snow flurries throughout the afternoon.  This should clear away by nightfall however, making way for a weekend of glorious sunshine once again!  There’s plenty of great skiing to be done in 1650 at the moment, with lovely snow conditions on all of the cruising blues. Temperatures continue to be mild but not too warm at around 2 degrees.
The 3 Valleys Enduro is being held on Easter Monday (9th April) and is open to everyone! Professionals, amateurs and families can take part in over 10 fun challenges including the Big Air Bag, Freestyle, Skicross and many more.  All you need to do is get together a team of 3 and get ready to win some prizes! As it is Enduro’s 10th anniversary, 3 Vallees and Salomon are planning the biggest celebration yet.
