Courchevel Snow Report 22/02/2013
Here is the latest snow report from our team in Courchevel
There is 216cm of snow at the top of the Courchevel ski area with 146cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was last Friday with a nice dusting of fresh snow.
There are 95 of the 119 pistes open today in Courchevel with 56 of the 71 lifts open.
The forecast for the next three days is for light dustings of snow with a few centimeters falling and clearing up towards Wednesday next week.

Weary legs and panda eyes will be seen throughout Britain’s airports this weekend, testimony to the week of truly magnificent weather we have just had. Wall-to-wall sun, combined with sub-zero temperatures, have made for a memorable and sun burnt week. However, in between the clinking of glasses and the tapping of ski boots on outdoor decking, , one can hear the inevitable tittle and tattle of the seasonnaire skiing snob: ‘ice here’, ‘lack of powder there’ – a pre-disposition to whinge all over the mountain. Fortunately, those persistent whispers will be banished with the onset of fresh snow, a sprinkling over the weekend to top-up the ample amount we have here already. As the half-term weeks come and go, the drums of spring and summer sounding louder on the not so distant horizon, the end of the season seems closer than ever. Get the skiing in whilst you can…
