Christmas & New Year Ski Holidays
Join us in the mountains this Christmas or New Year and enjoy a real winter wonderland holiday
What could be more perfect than a day skiing on the slopes, then returning to a comfortable Alpine chalet or Chalet Hotel with afternoon tea waiting for you, followed by a delicious dinner, a well-earned glass of wine and a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
Christmas and New Year are a special time in the Alps. All the resorts have lights and decorations creating a true Christmassy atmosphere and most have fireworks on New Year’s Eve. (the featured image above is of the famous New Years Eve party held in Tignes Le Lac)
Christmas Ski Holidays
19th to 26th December
Our Chalet Hotels and chalets offer a very special festive ambience over Christmas, with a decorated Christmas tree, and plenty of festive extras. On Christmas Day our staff will kick off the celebrations with a Champagne apéritif for all adult guests, before serving a full traditional Christmas dinner to guests of all ages eating together, including roast turkey with all the trimmings, Christmas pudding and mince pies.
We’ll make you feel right at home with crackers, party hats and maybe even carols around the fire!
Nothing quite beats skiing on Christmas Day, surrounded by stunning Alpine scenery, in the knowledge that someone else is doing all the cooking and the washing up!
New Year Ski Holidays
26th December to 2nd January
A special celebration menu will also be served on New Year’s Eve, preceded by Champagne, and it’s an added bonus that many resorts put on fantastic firework displays at midnight!
Watching fireworks over the snow-capped peaks of the Alps – what better way to bring in the New Year!
With Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve falling on a Sunday, we have changed our usual departures to Austria and France from Sunday to Tuesday in December.
This means that the Christmas stay is from 19th to 26th December and New Year from 26th December to 2nd January so you can enjoy the build-up to the main celebration days on the slopes.
