Arabba snow report 12.12.2012
The latest snow report from our team in Arabba
The snow depth at the top of the ski area at Marmolada Glacier is 150 cm and in resort there is 50 cm on the home runs.
It last snowed on 11.12.2012 with 1 cm.
90% of the runs are open and 20 out of the 25 lifts in the Arabba area are running.
Ski conditions are some of the best I have experienced this early in the season with very cold clear weather the resort are continuing to make snow each evening to build on the already impressive natural base of snow that we have.
The Sella Ronda ski route is fully open and the pistes are in excellent condition even down to the lower resort levels where the snowmaking over the last few days has improved where there has been less of the fresh natural snow. More fresh snow is expected on Friday evening and it promises to be a great week just before Christmas.
The weather over the next few days is due to be partly sunny with cloud coming in on Friday with another 10 cm due at resort level.
Giant Slalom and super G competition is taking place above Arabba on the 16th December 2012
