Alpe d Huez Snow Report 29/02/2016
Conditions today have been overcast with very light snow flurries. Visibility has been clear at higher levels, with the views still breath taking from the top of Pic Blanc. The pistes are good shape, with limited moguls and off piste is tracked, however the snow is still of good quality. Temperatures are nice and low, hovering around the -5 degrees Celsius and the wind strength has dropped.
Forecast: Forecast for the rest of the week is looking good, with 127cm of snow forecast with the big dumps due Wednesday and Friday night. Giving plenty of fresh powder to look forward to next week. The sun is also set to break through during the week, giving us a touch of blue bird. Temperatures are set to drop down to the early negative teens and with French half term coming to an end next week, traffic on the slopes will be greatly reduced.
