A piste of perfection – part 5

What are the ingredients for your perfect day on the slopes?

We have asked some of our UK office staff what their favourite day on the slopes is and a few have shared with us. Let us know what your perfect day is like and we’ll add it to the website. Part 4 was from Lucy in the reservations team and today we have Dusty from the reservations team.

BEd2rV1CYAEWn5EFresh snow overnight  with perfect blue skies.  First lifts with the opportunity of fresh tracks.  Not too warm that you know it will be slushy in the afternoon and to avoid getting hot and bothered!

Although I have skied for years I love nothing better than wide cruising red runs piste’d to avoid moguls with a light dusting of fresh snow on top of the slopes so that snow kicks out the back of my twin tips; not great for people behind me, but I like it!!

The perfect companions would have to be my fiancé and friends to enjoy the experience as it’s never as much fun on your own and the lifts get lonely. A late lunch stop around 1.30, not rushed but enjoying the atmosphere, local cuisine and sunshine. I tend not to stay out too late on the slopes maybe  4pm max so a drink or two in a après bar above the chalet with lively music then head back for cake and sauna!!
