Ski Packs
Pre-bookable Ski Packs
We are pleased to offer you a convenient pre-bookable service for ski/board and boot hire, tuition and lift passes. The big advantages are that everything is arranged for you in advance, prices are guaranteed against currency fluctuation, and you can relax and look forward to a smoother first day in resort.
Your equipment hire and lesson vouchers will be in your Welcome Pack ready for you immediately on arrival, and your lift passes will be delivered to you either on arrival or by breakfast time on your first morning, so you can hit the slopes without delay.
Ski school
Our partner ski-school here is award-winning Evolution 2, who operate with a strict maximum of eight per class, to ensure a high level of personal attention. This means faster progress for beginners, but the ski-school is equally well known for helping intermediates break bad habits and move up a level, and for its specialist powder courses, which can be arranged with your Ski Total representative in resort.
Children also benefit enormously from the 8-per-class maximum, and Tignes-le-Lac is home to Les Marmottons - one of the best ‘Jardins de Neige’ for children in the French Alps.
Aprés Ski
Tignes offers a host of exciting après-ski activities, as well as an ample choice of venues for everything from a quiet drink to a lively night out. There is also a choice of restaurants in all price ranges within an easy walk for our chalet staff’s one evening off.
Tignes-le-Lac, Le Lavachet and Val Claret all have their own choice of shops, bars and cafés, and are easily connected on the regular free shuttle service, which runs throughout the day and evening.

The Skiing
From Tignes-le-Lac, where six of our chalets are located, lifts head up both sides of the valley, with the Aeroski gondola giving immediate access to the Tovière ridge and the slopes of Val d’Isère, and the Chardonnet lift and Palafour chair heading up the Aiguille Percée side of the huge Tignes bowl.
Access from our six other chalets in Le Lavachet is equally easy, with two main chairlifts within easy reach, one heading up each side of the valley.
This incredible area just has everything - miles and miles of wide open pistes, two glaciers with sensational snow, plenty of trickier black runs when you want a challenge, and some of the best off-piste in the world. Intermediate skiers will revel in the choices available every day – take a long tour across to the Le Fornet end of Val d’Isère and back, ski the full circle around the Tignes valley, with lunch in the picturesque village of Tignes-les-Brevières.
It is no wonder that Tignes/Val d’Isère holds such iconic status amongst expert skiers, for its huge choice of black runs, plus its legendary off-piste temptations. There are acres of high altitude unpisted open bowls, which all receive bountiful dumps of fresh powder right throughout the season. Much of this is accessible by lift, leaving the true aficionados to trudge the ridges in search of the more extreme chutes and couloirs.
