'Location, location, location!'
La Croisette is the lively epicentre of 1850 next to the World Cup slalom stadium, where all the main ski-lifts start, the ski-school meets, and skiers throng to the après ski bars.
The recognised absolute best place to stay, is not right in the midst of this hurly-burly, but a convenient 2-minute walk away at the Coq de Bruyère!
From here, you have a choice of bars, restaurants and everything that 1850 has to offer conveniently close at hand, (including the ski-hire shop right next door). On top of that, there is supremely easy access to the slopes, with the Loze piste literally just metres away.
Ski Area Access
Just across the street from the hotel, barely 30m walk away, is the edge of the 'Loze' piste, an easy green run suitable for all skiers, which leads you quickly to the Plantrey chairlift, or on to Courchevel 1550, or connecting to the 'Brigues' red run all the way down to Le Praz 1300 if you wish.
Alternatively, you can walk approximately two minutes down to La Croisette, and take your pick of the choice of main high-speed lifts from here.
At the end of your ski day, you can ski back to the same point you started from on the 'Loze' piste, and simply cross the street to the hotel and your welcoming afternoon tea.
If you have been skiing down in Le Praz, you can also take the gondola from 1300, which unloads you just approximately one minute's walk along the piste from the Coq de Bruyère.
Comfortable Hotel Facilities
The open-plan lounge and bar area with its open fireplace, is the ideal place to enjoy a pre- or post-dinner drink in the evenings. There is also a small separate DVD lounge or 'snug', providing additional space to relax.
The attractive dining-room opens off the bar, and provides the ideal setting for our skiers' buffet breakfast and 'Culinary Choice' evening meals.
All the bedrooms have private en suite facilities, with a choice of showers or baths and wc, and many also have a balcony. The third bed in the triple rooms is suitable only for a child under 13 years.

We set very high standards for our cuisine, and train our staff extensively before the season starts, to ensure that you will thoroughly enjoy every meal on your own holiday with us.
For six days of the week our staff prepare all your meals.
On the hosts’ day off, they will prepare a Continental style breakfast for you, which will be left for you to help yourselves, and that evening you have the chance to eat out in one of the local cafés or restaurants – our resort team will be happy to provide some suggestions. In our Chalet Hotels, a buffet breakfast is also served on the staff’s day off.
